Gyoza Pancake Recipe
These gyoza pancakes are the easy to make and the most delicious dumplings I think I've ever tasted. If you can make sandwiches, you can make these dumplings. You don't have to fold pleats or anything like that! Even more, the dumpling skins are gluten free! If its possible, use a non-stick frying pan or otherwise, use enough oil to pan fry them. They stick to the pan really easily.
Ingredients - to make 4
8 dried rice papers
150g pork - minced
150g prawns - minced
3 spring onions - finely chopped
2 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp SAORI Goma (sesame) Sauce
for sauce to put on after cooking - SAORI Goma Sauce
Gyoza Pancake Recipe
1: to make mixture, combine pork mince, prawn mince, spring onions and corn flour in a large bowl and then knead well. Pour on SAORI Goma Sauce and mix well.
2: place one dry rice paper sheet (do not wet it) in oiled frying pan, then put some mixture in the middle and then put another rice paper on top (just like a sandwich)
3: fry on a medium heat
4: turn it over a couple of times until the rice paper is golden brown
Turn it
Turn it again...tada!
5: pour on SAORI Goma Sauce
The outside will be crunchy and the inside will be "mochi mochi"
