Tuna Tataki Recipe – seared tuna with garlic and Ponzu sauce


You can make this fantastic restaurant grade dish with SAORI Ponzu Sauce. You would pay a fortune for this at a restaurant!

Ingredients
300g sashimi grade tuna - cut into 5cm width strips
1 knob of garlic - finely chopped
extra virgin olive oil - 1-2tbsp
salad mix
SAORI Ponzu (citrus) Sauce
grated daikon (Japanese radish) for garnish - optional

Recipe
1:simmer garlic in oil on low heat.


2:sear tuna lightly - high heat and very quickly on each side for 20-30 seconds so only outside is cooked


3:slice the tuna and place it on salad


4:drizzle on SAORI Ponzu Sauce and garnish with grated daikon.
I had this dish with Japanese sushi/koshi rice and spicy miso soup.
